| What is this group about? Self-Portraiture is a group dedicated to showcasing what can be accomplished in the world of self portrait photography. The group will also provide tutorials on photography, lighting, and photo editing so that others can learn how to make their own self-portraits more appealing and much stronger conceptually. Who can join the group? Anyone can join, since this group is not meant to target just one specific group of people. What can I submit to the gallery/favs?  THIS GROUP ONLY ACCEPTS PHOTOS TAKEN BY YOU OF YOURSELF. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT PHOTOS YOU TOOK OF OTHER PEOPLE OR PHOTOS OTHERS HAVE TAKEN OF YOU. Submissions should only have minimal editing (such as color correction, hue/saturation, borders, etc.) Do not submit photomanipulations, meaning that more than one photo was usedt. This does not apply to HDR shots and panoramic shots. Do not submit poorly done webcam shots, for example, since they will be obviously denied. Submissions are one per week. There is a 3 Strikes and You're Out policy. If you submit an image twice that violate the rules, you will be sent a warning note for each instance. If it happens a third time, you will be banned from the group. Make sure to submit to the correct folder in the Gallery. Incorrect folder submissions will be automatically denied.Which one should I submit deviations to? If the person is active on dA and will be able to approve the submission to the gallery, submit the image there. If, however, the person has not been active on dA for quite some time, I put it in the favs. The favs do not require permission from the deviant to be placed there. For this reason, I have moved the Tutorials - Tips & Tricks folder to the favorites. If you find a tutorial that may be useful to the group (this means, in terms of self-portrait photography), please submit it to the appropriate folder in the Group's Favorites. |
